Leadership & Membership

CTCMA provides several ways for its members to be active in our goal of advancing professional local government administration in Connecticut.
The seven member Executive Board serves for a term of one-year and provides leadership and direction for the organization.  Other opportunities exist to serve on an ad hoc committee, participate in the CTCMA Scholarship program for students studying Public Administration at a Connecticut college or university, or in direct outreach by helping Charter Revision Commissions looking at the council-manager form of government.
Membership in CTCMA is open to those holding a professional management position in a Connecticut local government.  However, our membership also includes consultants to local government, regional professionals, and retired officials.
